Vintage Cromwell Motor Racing Helmet.
A post-war motor racing helmet manufactured by Cromwell, this classic piece features a cork interior lined with a leather headband, along with integrated neck and ear protectors and a chin strap. The helmet is constructed from lightweight shellac with a fixed peak and comes fitted with a removable leather and celluloid wraparound visor. At the rear, a leather loop is provided to secure a goggle strap, and inside, the original Cromwell cloth trade label remains intact, but difficult to fully read. The helmet is in good used condition and measures approximately 59 cm in internal circumference. Written on the headband is: "S. Moss 1958 Vanwall RT."

This is an excellent example of British motoring history and a superb piece of automobilia in lovely condition.
