Highland Shooting Landscape Attributed To John Morris.
A superb good sized shooting painting in the style of John Morris. The oil on canvas painting depicts three dogs in a Highland setting after a days shoot. In the foreground is a pony with the days catch of two rabbits hanging from the saddle with a stag laying on the ground next to it. In the distance a boat can be seen on the loch whilst the mountains are in the background. Framed in a modern ornate deep relief gilt gesso frame, the painting signed in the bottom right-hand corner, J. Noble.
