Levy Golf Ball Marker In Original Box.
A rare portable 'Omnes', Birmingham, golf ball marker device with brass name stamp (CHANDLER). The cast iron ball marker in great condition and marked 'Omnes Marker Co., Levy Marker, Pat 20076/09'. The directions for use are:- Place ball in cup - raise slotted frame - catch will stop frame when directly in the centre - ink stamp on pad which should only contain a very little ink - drop stamp into slot - bring thumb screw directly over stamp - screw down on ball - very little pressure is required'.
The marker was used to imprint the owners surname onto the surface of the golf ball. Stamp is also engraved 'Pat 20076/09, Omnes Marker Co., Birmingham'.
