F.A. Davis 'The Riseley Hexagon' (Patent) Lawn Tennis Racket.
A nice ash frame with double chamfer edges and concave wedge. The walnut wedge is embossed in gilt 'The Riseley Hexagon (Patent)' on one side and the other 'F.A. Davis, London'. The racket has the original red shoulder wrapping, original double mains stringing with white vertical gut strings, red horizontal strings and three rows of trebling to the top and bottom. The handle stamped 'F.A Davis Ltd' with original leather butt embossed 'When not in use keep in press and makers name, F.A Davis'
A great racket for any collection.
