A wonderful Victorian silver Banjo shape oiler with thumb squirt action. A fantastic piece of vintage motoring ephemera, the perfect gift for the car enthusiast who thinks he has everything! The mundane garage oiler of the Golden Age of automobiles turned into something of beauty, a silver hallmarked oiler with cap and chain. Hallmarked London 1875 with silversmith mark 'HW'. The banjo oiler is also engraved 'Jenner & Knewstub, 33 st. James's & 66 Jermyn St'.
A great stand alone piece or the start of an automobilia can collection.
