Antique Golf Club, Brassie (Fairway Wood).
Persimmon head socket head brassie/spoon with hickory shaft and a leather grip. The head is stamped 'G. Bowser', club head with a full brass sole plate secured with six screws and lead weight to rear.
A great brassie in good condition.
The measurements of the club are;
Length 106 cm
Width of head 5.6 cm
Depth of face 3.5 cm
G. Bowser was a professional golfer at Ardudwy Golf Links (Dyffryn) in 1915 for only one year. Later he was at Willesley Park from 1920 until 1927 where he moved onto Western Park.
