A typical period socket head persimmon wood brassie, by Anderson & Blyth, St Andrews. This great looking small headed club has a polished club head, lead weight to the rear and the traditional horn slip along the leading edge of the sole with full brass sole plate. The crown of the club head is stamped 'Anderson & Blyth', with the original hickory shaft stamped 'Anderson & Blyth, St Andrews, Special'. The grip is a later replacement.
A very nice quality usable club in excellent condition, ideal for hickory golf.
The measurements shown are the length of the whole club, the width of the face and depth of the head.
A great golf club in good usable condition for modern hickory play. Approximate 13° loft & swing weight B-38.
