Anderson & Blyth

1908 - 1915

Anderson & Blyth.
James Anderson, the son of Jamie Anderson the champion, and his partner David Blyth both learned club making while working for Robert Forgan & Son in the 1890's. They appear to have started their own business in about 1908 in St Andrews and continued until 1914. They made their own wood clubs and sold irons forged by Tom Stewart. Their special drivers were named 'Invincible' and the firm was known for their fine juvenile clubs. Taken from 'Compendium of British Club Makers' by Peter Georgiady.
