Aberdeen - The Alton Links Etching By George Aikman.
John Smart painted scenes of Scottish golf courses for a bound folio in 1893. George Aikman produced the etchings from Smart's water colours for the book, which was originally published as a limited edition of 100 copies. We have seen copies of the book where this print, in the List Of Plates, is titled Aberdeen - The Altown Links, but in the book it is written as 'Aberdeen - The Altoon Links'. The etching has been framed in a modern frame with mount.
Frame size:- 38 cm high by 47 cm wide.
