Vintage Pair of Leather Football Boots
A superb vintage pair of size 7 tan leather football/rugby boots, presented in excellent condition. Beautifully crafted from quality leather, the boots are stamped on the inside with '7, F-191' and feature six traditional leather studs on each sole, each formed from layers of cylindrical leather discs secured with three nails.
Designed to extend above the ankle for added support and protection, the boots also feature reinforced hardened leather toe caps with protective toe straps. The soles are branded 'The H & D ThatSit Reg. Adamant' within an oval stamp, adding to their authenticity and period character.
An excellent and increasingly scarce example of early sporting footwear, these boots are a wonderful piece of sporting history, making them ideal for collectors, display, or vintage décor.
