Canvas Covered Salmon Rod Tube.
A solid salmon fishing rod tube covered in green canvas. The tube is fitted with a leather base cap, removable leather lid with buckle and removable leather carry handle on two straps. The rod tube is in good condition, the outer casing is in a used condition. There are some colourful transport luggage labels on the tube exterior, one with the owners name 'Kinloch'. There is a label from the Dutch specialist shipping firm, the 'Holland-Afrika Lijn', one from the Portuguese shipping company 'Companhia Colonial de Navegação' and one from Union-Castle Line in 1972 for a journey from Cape Town to Southampton.
