Novelty Cricket Toast Rack.
A Victorian silver plated cricket toast rack which can also be used as a letter rack or napkin holder. The dividers are in the shape of crossed cricket bats, the ends with stumps and bails, feet are cricket balls. The ring handle in the form of a belt with a buckle with crossed bats. Two of the bats stamped with Registration Design diamond stamp, 28th August 1882, one is also stamped 'HB'. The underside of the base stamped '2557'.
A nice looking toast rack for six slices of toast.
