An automotive brass oil can made in France. A fantastic piece of vintage motoring ephemera, the perfect gift for the motoring enthusiast. SGDG Paris' to the center. To the rear 'Pat. Appd. For, Made in France' with a bracket for hanging the oil can. The brass metal with a lovely patina.

"BTE. S.G.D.G." stands for "Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement" and translated means: "Patent without guarantee of the government", this is the name of a patent as it was in France until 1968.
