Usable Hickory Shafted Brassie Golf Club.
A good original persimmon wood socket-head brassie, retaining its original hickory shaft and polished leather grip. The crown of the club head bears a stamped maker's mark, now largely illegible, possibly reading 'Special, Westside G.C.'.
The head features a rear lead weight, while the face is fitted with a grooved insert secured by four brass screws and a partial brass sole plate. Presented in good original condition throughout, this is an attractive and very usable example for modern hickory golf.

The measurements shown refer to the overall length of the club, together with the width and depth of the face.
