Vintage Fishing Trout Fly Rod, Pezon & Michel, Sterling Normale.
A fine 9ft 7", two piece, split cane trout fly fishing rod with alloy screw reel fitting, cork handle, scarlet silk whippings, open bridge rings, suction joint and wooden stopper. It comes in original Pezon Et Michel canvas bag. The two parts of the rod are both #43, there is an inscription around the rod with decal 'Pezon & Michel' with a crown, Sterling Normale, CS 217 - 9 p ½ - 2m90, Made In France. "Pezon et Michel Paris Amboise" is stamped on the back of the butt cap.
The 9'7" Sterling Normale was produced from 1969 to 1975
