A good original leather fly fishing cast wallet by the renowned tackle maker Hardy Brothers, Alnwick. Made in pigskin leather and remaining in very good condition, the case is embossed in gilt to the front: 'THE "HOUGHTON" CAST CASE', to the interior, 'Hardy Brothers Ltd., Makers, Alnwick, England'. It has a selection of four pockets, made of unbleached Chamois skin with embossed gilt titles, fine, medium, strong & points. The front has also be stamped by the previous owner: ACM - A.C.Macintyre.
A practical and highly collectible accessory for the fly fisherman or Hardy collector.
When open, the wallet measures approximately 15 cm high x 28 cm wide.
