Douglas Adams Fishing Triptychs.
A pair of triple aperture mounts with wonderful salmon and trout fishing scenes by Douglas Adams. The fishing photogravures are published by Frost & Reed and are signed by the artist, Douglas Adams. Framed in original frames but with new mounts, in each frame two of the pictures are landscape in orientation whilst central one is portrait.
The three Trout Fishing photogravures have known titles, Plate 1 - selecting the fly. Plate 2 - Got him at last. Plate 3 - A good three-pounder. Published 1899 by Frost & Reed, Bristol, Copyright registered.
A great collective set of angling pictures.
External frame size 46½ cm high, 108 cm wide.
The sizes for the images are, Portrait:- 26½ cm high, 18 cm wide & Landscape:- 16½ cm high, 25½ cm wide
