Large Polo picture 'Polo at Hurlingham' signed G.D. Giles. This is an original hand coloured photogravure, only 100 signed artist's proofs were issued at £3 gns each. Published June 1st 1904 by Messrs Fores, 41 Piccadilly, London, W. Signed and titled in pencil.
The picture by Geoffrey Douglas Giles features polo players engaged in a match at the famous Hurlingham park in London with the grandstand in the background. Giles (1857-1923) was a British artist known for his paintings of horses.
