The original bevelled hard bound morocco leather covering has gilt lettering and tooling, the spine with five raised bands and title 'Cricket and Football' and decoration. The front with family crest and the motto 'DEUS LUMEN MEUM' (GOD IS MY LIGHT), inside the front cover there is a bookplate for Clifford C Erskine-Bolst (Conservative Party, MP). The book with red marbled papers front and back, gilt edges, tissue protected frontispiece of Dr W.G. Grace in full cricketing regalia and full with informative text and numerous photogravure prints and photographic illustrations. Limited edition of 1000 copies, of which this is copy 303. Titled 'Cricket and Football'.
