A fine revolving billiard / snooker / dining table with good colour and patination. The table is made of mahogany with four turned legs with adjusters for levelling the table. The playing surface is a slate bed covered in 100% English Wool napped cloth. The pockets are leather covered with net bags. The table dates ca. 1900 and as a spacious dining table can seat 10 people comfortably. The snooker unit is pivoted at each end of the table, and by pulling-out two wooden retaining slides, it can be revolved easily through 180 degrees to reveal the billiard surface. When returned to a dining table the surface is level with the surrounding frame. When the table is in the correct position it is always secured by pushing in the two retaining slides. There is a plaque with the manufactures details "George Edwards, Kingsland Road, London, Established 1852".

This table will be supplied with balls for snooker and pool, two cues and one rest.
