Leather Cartridge Magazine.
A good large leather cartridge magazine case with oak carcass covered in tan leather and brass lock (no key). The magazine case is in original condition with two original leather straps, brass corners and a single leather carrying handle. The interior contains six compartments for holding shot-gun cartridges. The inside of the lid is with dark red baize as is the bottom, the interior of the case with leather lifting straps. The case will take over 300, 12 bore cartridges.

A cartridge magazine is a traditional method of storing cartridges between shoots. When on a shoot the cartridges needed would be removed and placed in a cartridge bag.
