Walker and Hall Golf Club Candle Sticks.
A pair of rare Edwardian, silver plated golf candle sticks by Walker and Hall, Sheffield. The candle sticks are in the form of three long nose golf clubs supporting a styled gutta percha golf ball which has a hole in the top for the candle. The round base is with decorative edging and a small styled gutty golf ball. Impressed on the underside of both of the bases is the trade mark of Walker & Hall (a pennant with the initials W & H) the numbers 51911, A, and a 19 or 61. Stamped under the trade mark flag pole is the date stamp 'omega', date letters of different styles were used, the "Greek alphabet" would have started in 1884 (alpha letter) and ended in 1907 with the final letter in the Greek alphabet, omega. A lovely pair of golf themed candle sticks.
