Set Of Eight Playable LB Hickory Golf Clubs.
A very good matched set of eight hickories (hickory shafted golf clubs) retailed by 'LB' of 76 Jermyn Street, London. The set is made up of all irons and include a Cleek, No. 1, 2 & 5, Mashie, two Mashie-Niblicks & No.8 Niblick. The club heads are all 'LB' of 76 Jermyn Street, London. All the clubs have had their heads removed and re-secured to the hickory shafts with new brass pins and have new suede leather grips ready to hit the fairways. The iron heads with dot punched face markings and dash markings and are hand forged rustless iron. One of the Mashie-Niblick's has had the rear of the flange drilled to alter its weight.
This is a great set of playable original hickory shafted golf clubs. If you are wishing to play some hickory golf the best balls to play with are low compression balls that will give at impact, such as ladies balls or soft feel balls.
