A great board game for the golf fanatic, Peg Golf.
This highly amusing board game is made in America by 'The Peg Golf Co.', 231 West 42nd Street, New York City. The game comprises of one 18 hole golf course on a ply board, selection of red and white bone pegs, two dice shakers and six dice per player. The dice represent the following clubs:- driver, brassie, iron, mashie, niblick and putter. Each dice has a different yardage for the selected club, driver:- 200, 190,180,170, 160 & 150/ brassie 180, 170, 160, 150, 140 & 130/ iron 150, 140, 130, 120, 110 & 100/ mashie 90,80,70,60,50 & 40/ niblick 30, 20, 20, 10, 10 & 10/ putter 3, 2, 2, 1, 1 & 1. The game pieces come in a soft wood box with printed directions on the inside of the lid.

Directions:- After placing a red pin and white pin on each "tee", both players start simultaneously with the Driver; the one that covers the greater distance wins the "honor" (first move) and holds it throughout the game (the respective throws are counted by both players); after the initial drive the players throw alternately.
Either player may choose any club and the shot may be counted at any hole.
Every shot must be counted if there is consecutive space remaining. When a hole is won the loser's pin is taken and placed in the perforation on the winner's side of the board; the latter's pin remaining in the hole in the green.
The player that first wins ten holes has won the game. The course is marked off in units of ten yards each; the heavy lines denote fifty-yard points, and long lines hundred-yard points; the holes on the "greens" are one yard apart. The putter must be used on the "greens".

The measurements shown are for the playing board, the box measures 2 ¾ inches high, 6 ½ inches wide & 4 ½ inches deep.
