Late Victorian Carter's Patent Reclining Day Bed.
A fully adjustable Alfred Carter campaign or day bed with three cane rattan sections. The three sections can be adjusted into many different positions to suit the comfort of the user, it can also be laid flat to use as a spare bed. There is a trade label for 'Alfred Carter, Trade Mark, 47 Holborn Viaduct'. Made of mahogany and raised on four turned legs with pierced brass castors.
