We have found the boots being endorsed by Billy Wright in a copy of an old 1950's advert on the internet (see image).
William Ambrose "Billy" Wright was an English footballer, who spent his whole career at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Born in Ironbridge, Shropshire, he first joined Wolves in 1938 at the age of 14 as part of the ground staff. A year later he made his first team debut in a 2-1 win against Notts County. Two years later he signed a professional contract, but at the time the 2nd World War was happening and Billy joined the Army as a PT instructor, but still played for Wolves whenever possible. He was the first footballer in the world to earn 100 international caps, captaining England 90 times, including during their campaigns at the 1950, 1954 and 1958 World Cups.
After the war Billy rejoined Wolves and was the club captain when in 1949 they won the FA Cup and became the team of the '50's winning the First Division Championship in 1953-54, 1957-58 and 1958-59.
