"The South Berks Hunt" by Cecil Aldin.
This framed and very colourful Cecil Aldin fox hunting photolithograph is called 'THE SOUTH BERKS HUNT, Away from Pearman's Covert' from the series Hunting Countries. It was published by Alfred Bell & Co., Ltd. 6, Bond Street, London, W.1. July 1st 1925. The main scene is of a hunt with the huntsman Isaac Sheffield in the lead, followed by Guy Hargreaves who succeeded Aldin as MFH. Aldin himself is seen jumping into the lane, on the left-hand side, in a black jacket.

Cecil Aldin (1870 - 1935) was a prolific painter, not only did he paint the golfing scenes he also painted sensitive depictions of his dogs and scenes of hunting and racing. Aldin was the Master of the South Berkshire Hunt and was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1898.
