Vintage Brass Bound Garden Croquet Set In Pine Box.
A good Jaques croquet set in polished pine box with two carry handles. The set comes with four ash head croquet mallets with brass bounding to protect the playing faces of the mallets. Each mallet has an octagonal ash handle, the shape of the handle helps a player 'feel' the alignment of the mallet when in play. To complete the set there are four balls in the standard croquet colours, six bent metal hoops, one post (the coloured bands indicating the order of play). There are also four coloured clips to show the progress of the balls in play.
The mallets all have coloured guide lines and are stamped 'Jaques, London'.
