Vintage Eight Mallet Croquet Set Asser & Sherwin.
A good quality Victorian eight-mallet croquet on turned stand. The mallet heads are marked 'Asser & Sherwin, London". The heads are made from boxwood and are fitted with ash handles with coloured rings from one to four in red and blue for the different players. To complete the set there are eight boxwood balls with the same number of coloured rings to match the mallets, metal hoops and two turned posts with two sets of numbers 1,2,3,4 in red and blue bands.
A wonderful 8 mallet garden croquet set in excellent condition on an original antique stand.

In very good condition for it's age, Some minor splits and some discolouring on the mallets. The stand is an original from the same age but has been united.
