Croquet Set On Ayres Usborne Croquet Stand.
An original "Usborne" croquet carrier stand patented by F. H. Ayres of London with four mallets (two at 92 cm in length, the other two at 93 cm), four croquet balls and a winning post, all coloured in the standard croquet colours, blue, red, yellow and black. To complete the croquet set there are a set of six bent metal croquet hoops. The set comes on an original "Usborne" croquet carrier stand patented by F. H. Ayres of London that will take all but the hoops. The top with painted gold decal ' The "Usborne" croquet carrier stand (patent) F. H. Ayres, London'. The stand makes it easier to transport the set out to the lawn, but looks equally attractive standing in the hall.

Great usable set. The stand with repair to top arm. One mallet has had a new face added. Mallets usable but with cracks.
