Vintage John Jaques Croquet Set.
An exceptionally good quality Jaques croquet set retailed by Lillywhites, Piccadilly. The set is in original polished green traditional reinforced pine box with Jaques' name painted on the front and to the lid. It is with four brass bound mallets. All four mallets have guide lines on the tops of the heads and octagonal handles with cord grips. To complete the set there are four 'ECLIPSE' balls in the standard croquet colours, six hoops and one winning post with peg clip (the coloured bands on the post indicating the order of play).
