Boxed Bateman Four Mallet Garden Croquet Set.
A four mallet garden croquet set in a painted pine storage box with metal carry handles at either end. The set comprises of four boxwood mallets with ebony stringing alinement lines and the faces with scored concentric rings, the heads fitted with ash handles. There are four coloured balls in the standard croquet colours, four coloured spring clips, six bent metal hoops with a hoop gauge, wooden hoop mallet and two winning posts with arms for the sprung clips. The lid has the original Bateman decorative paper label on the inside, the box has been repainted and stenciled with 'Croquet' to the front, the lid. The mallets are 38 inches in length.
