1960s Slazenger "Geoff Pullar Autograph" Cricket Bat - Multi-Signed by Yorkshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Players
A good quality long-handle, triple-sprung Slazenger cricket bat dating from the early 1960s, featuring the printed "Geoff Pullar Autograph" branding to the face.
The bat has been signed in ink by numerous county players, with Yorkshire players on the front and Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire players on the reverse.
Signatures to the front include several members of the famous Yorkshire Championship-winning era, including:
Brian Close (captain)
Fred Trueman
Geoffrey Boycott
John Hampshire
Phil Sharpe
Don Wilson
Doug Padgett
and other Yorkshire players of the period.
The reverse carries additional signatures from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire county players of the same era.
The bat is a traditional triple-spring club bat, typical of Slazenger manufacture in the early 1960s, and remains in very good overall condition for its age, with mostly clear signatures and an attractive display appearance.
A fine piece of 1960s county cricket memorabilia, representing one of Yorkshire's most successful periods.
