Vintage Snaffles Hunting Print, The Informers.
A hand coloured Snaffles photolitho entitled 'The Informers'. The main picture shows two donkeys watching a fox trotting by, there is also a remarque in the bottom left hand corner with a title 'The Moon Lighter' with a fox sitting on top of a stone wall eyeing up a farm yard in the distance. This Charles "Snaffles" Johnson Payne (1884 1967) picture is in very good condition and framed with a Snaffles blindstamp (a bridle bit) in the bottom right hand corner with artists signature in pencil and is one of his most sought after subjects.
