NORTH BERWICK AFTER CECIL ALDIN.
A rare mounted and framed coloured photolithograph after Cecil Aldin, depicting North Berwick G.C., with hand painted remarque and signed in pencil by the artist. NORTH BERWICK- "PERFECTION" and "THE REDAN". The print does have a stain across the top left corner (see image).

Image size: 20 1/4 inches wide by 14 inches high.

Aldin did 6 famous Golf Links courses altogether:
Sunningdale, North Berwick, Westward Ho, Royal St. George's, Walton Heath and St. Andrews.
Cecil Aldin (1870 - 1935) was a prolific painter, not only did he paint the golfing scenes he also painted sensitive depictions of his dogs and scenes of hunting and racing. Aldin was the Master of the South Berkshire Hunt and was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1898.
