Large Wilderness Leuku Knife.
This is a fine traditional Finnish large Sami Leuku fixed blade Wilderness knife. The blade is very sharp and is made from quality High Carbon Steel (HRC 59) is 21cm long and is natural unpolished carbon black except for the grind, so always remember to dry and oil after use. The well designed shaped handle is 5" long, made from a combination of curly birch, thin layers of leather and reindeer antler, generously sized with a pronounced flare at the pommel. This helps retain the knife when used for chopping, as well as assist in drawing the knife from the sheath which is made from wet-formed cow hide and has a reindeer leather belt hanger attached to it. The Sami knife has a long, wide, and strong blade that is suited for camp building, light chopping tasks such as cutting small trees for shelter poles, brush clearing, bone breaking, butchering tasks, and is sometimes used as a substitute for an axe for chopping and splitting small amounts of firewood.

As we have multiple knives the image shown may not be of the exact knife you receive, the shading and graining may be slightly different.
