Antique Artists Paint Box.
A wonderful Victorian mahogany artists watercolour paint box. The box is in good overall condition with wear and patina as conducive with age and use. It has a hinged lid, the base of the box with a slim drawer with a ring handle and a locking pin. There are two mahogany lift out trays to reveal further compartments. Contents include several round ceramic mixing trays, rectangular mixing tray, Stamped "James Newman, 34 Soho Square" a kidney shape palette and twenty paint blocks. Some unused, with visible embossed trade details, Reeves & Sons, Newman's, W. Moore.
This quality artist's box is in good condition, with key.
