There are two images taken from a 1915 Slazengers catalogue of the advert for 'The Demon' lawn tennis racket.
It states:-
CAUTION "The Demon" racket has the largest sale of any racket, and has induced unprincipled dealers to introduce spurious imitations; we, therefore, beg to caution the public to see that "The Demon" is stamped on every racket.

The fishtail (fish tail) was an innovation in the Victorian period and was an attractive gimmick to help tennis players to grip their rackets. They were manufactured approximately from the 1890's to the 1920's and their shapely handle is always an attraction to the collector.
