Malcolm Campbell Texolex (prob) Motor Racing Helmet.
An Original genuine 1960's Malcolm Campbell 'Texolex' helmet. Developed by Sir Malcolm Campbell in the 1960's and used by many different trades. With original 'Campbell Adjustable Head Cradle'. It has an interior fitted with a headband and straps keeping a space between the head and outer case of the helmet. Strong leather neck and ear flaps are fitted as is a chin strap. Exterior shell with a raised cross to the top. A very good helmet in used condition but in excellent condition, a fantastic piece with approximately 56 cm internal circumference.

Major Sir Malcolm Campbell was a British racing motorist and motoring journalist. He gained the world speed record on land and on water at various times during the 1920s and 1930s using vehicles called Blue Bird, including a 1921 Grand Prix Sunbeam. His son, Donald Campbell, carried on the family tradition by holding both land speed and water speed records (Wikipedia).
