Peshawar Vale Hunt by Snaffles.
A good signed Snaffles Hunting print 'The Peshawar Vale Hunt'. The Snaffles hand finished lithograph depicts huntsman in Sola topees galloping across the plains and jumping the Jabkinndda Drain after a jackal. The two remarques are the Meet and the Finish. The title of the art work is 'Peshawar Vale Hunt' with the caption 'The Gent in the black coat, 'Begad! that would shtop them Mearh fellers'. The print is with the Snaffles blindstamp and is nicely framed in a modern gold frame.
The rider in the black coat and white topee is Colonel Kerans who became a close friend of Snaffles, who later stayed with in Birr.
