Coursing Print by Lionel Edwards and Lance Thackeray.
Vintage chromolithograph 'Every Dog has his Day' after L. Thackeray & L. Edwards, signed in pencil by both artists and numbered 'No. 87'. A great humorous colourful picture with an unusual subject of Coursing, showing two greyhounds chasing a rabbit but a stray dog from the crowd having beaten them both to the catch.

Lance Thackeray (1869 - 1916), born in Darlington. He was an English illustrator known for his humorous sporting illustrations and was a founding member of the London Sketch Club.
