"Who Said Cats?" Cecil Aldin Etching.
A mounted and framed original etching by Cecil Aldin entitled "Who Said Cats?". Published by Eyre & Spottiswoode (Publishers) Ltd., London, E.C. This is a limited edition of 100 of which this is No. 61. The etching is signed in pencil by the artist and has the original label on the backboard of the frame.

Cecil Aldin (1870 - 1935) was a prolific painter, not only did he paint his dogs, the Inns and some golfing scenes. He was famous for his wonderful scenes of hunting and racing. Aldin was the Master of the South Berkshire Hunt and was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1898.
