Cricket watercolour. A portrait of 2 boys (Arthur and Kenneth Deighton) with a cricket bat. Initialled and dated Ludovici 1851.
Albert Ludovici (1820 - 1894) was a genre painter and lived mainly in Paris, as did his son Albert Ludovici Jnr, also a painter. He exhibited mainly at the Royal Society of British Artists,Suffolk Street, but also else where.
